We are proud of our ability to fulfill our simple straight forward mission – to provide assistance to individuals and families in need throughout Nassau County, Florida. Nowhere is the problem more evident than in those that are the working poor, elderly and disenfranchised who are unable to meet their ongoing expenses. We are witnesses to these problems almost every day and as a result have made a firm commitment to help our neighbors by raising funds through grants, fundraising events, individual and business donations and our New to You resale store. It is clear that the demand for services will increase significantly over time and we anticipate that we must make plans to expand our services, continue to explore funding sources and evaluate our efforts. We are truly blessed by many volunteers some of which donate professional services to our free Samaritan Medical Clinic, dentists that deeply discount their fees, administrative support staff that come to the Barnabas Center each week like clockwork and all special events volunteers that assist with fundraising. It is a privilege to work with these men and women who care so much about the well being of others.
